Thank you to everyone that submitted a Community Fund application and attended the presentation evening on Wednesday 30 October.

Wednesday 13th November is ‘World Kindness Day’ and the b kinder foundation is encouraging all residents to walk and pledge as much as you can.  Encourage family and friends to walk down the street, take a stroll along one of the many nature trails or take the kids to the playground.

We've had over a decade of Spooktacular fun at Manor Lakes, however we are saying a fond farewell to this beloved annual celebration as you know it.

Manor Lakes locals Maria and Andy (affectionally known as our 'Halloween Heroes'), started this event 11 years ago as a way to break the ice and get to know their neighbours. Spooktacular has grown significantly from its humble origins and the event has raised thousands over the years for the Starlight Foundation—including over $15,000 in 2023 alone.

Grants are a great way to get funding and support for your local community initiative or not-for-profit group. Writing a successful grant application takes research, understanding the process, preparing your application, and then waiting to hear back.

Whether you're applying to the Manor Lakes Community Fund or another important grant, give it your best shot!

A great application can be the difference between receiving much-needed support and not being considered.
