Step 1. Secure your lot. The first step on your home buying journey. Once you’ve chosen your lot, visit the Sales Centre where you’ll need to complete an Expression of Interest form and pay an initial deposit via EFT, bank cheque or credit debit card. And if you have any questions, our sales team are there to assist.

Step 2. Signing your contract. Within days of receiving your initial deposit, the sales team will make a contract signing appointment with you, at which everyone whose names will be on the contract will need to attend. Don't forget to bring along some photo identification like your passport and driver’s licence! The balance of your deposit will also be payable at the contract signing appointment and you’ll be issued with a trust account receipt.

Step 3. Design Guidelines. Once you’ve signed your contract, it’s time to choose your home design and your builder. Your new home will need to comply with the relevant Design Guidelines for your residential estate and will also require approval from the Design Review Panel. So, we recommend discussing the Design Guidelines with your builder, and also contacting the Design Review Panel, as early as possible –ideally before signing your building contract, to make sure your home design complies from the outset, to avoid costly and/or time-consuming changes to your design down the track.

What’s your budget? Installing air conditioning and heating in your home is an investment. So, a bit of research goes a long way to ensure you’re able to meet your needs. After you’ve found a system that works within your budget, consider the costs involved with installation. Shop around and compare quotes to ensure you’re getting the best deal. 

Location of outdoor units? Make sure the location of the outdoor part of the unit is somewhere it will not receive too much direct sunlight. A north or a south-facing wall is best but it’s a good idea to observe how the sun strikes your house during summer️ to ascertain the best spot.
