MANOR LAKES CENTRAL SHOPPING CENTRE SET TO DOUBLE IN SIZE!
Following a recent announcement by Ranfurlie Asset Management, the Stage 2 expansion of Manor Lakes Central shopping centre is underway. Once completed, Stage 2 will add 11,385m2 to the centre’s retail space, taking the facilitiy's total area to just over 20,000m2. The expansion, at a cost of more than $60 million, will include a new-look Kmart, Best & Less, a new concept Anytime Fitness, along with a large format fruit and vegetable store and approximately 20 additional specialty stores. Five hundred extra parking spaces will be constructed, taking total parking spaces to more than 900.
The expansion of the shopping centre is expected to enhance the local area’s town centre by delivering an active shopping experience where people can enjoy spending time with family and friends. Family friendly elements will also be included with new parents’ room, community areas and interactive play area for the kids and free in-centre Wi-Fi. Ranfurlie Asset Management is confident the proposed retail offering will attract new visitors to Manor Lakes Central and benefit the local community.
Around 300 construction jobs and more than 400 on-going full and part-time retail positions will be generated by the project.
