Manor Lakes Construction Update November 2025

Construction has continued throughout Manor Lakes’ latest neighbourhood, The Village, and work continues on The Village Wetlands. Aided by favourable conditions crews have been able to keep work moving on the ground.

The Village Wetland

The construction of the wetlands on the corner of Maywood Road and Ison Road is now complete.  The space features a body of water, thousands of plants and multiple park bench viewpoints. The wetlands also feature perimeter walking paths and a 115-metre boardwalk with a viewing platform in the middle. A variety of native shrubs have been planted in the garden beds including Rock Correa, Black Anther Flax-lily, Spiny-Headed Mar-Rush, Woolly Tea Tree, Ruby Saltbush, Knobby Club-rush, Kangaroo Grass, Common Tussock and Austral Indigo. Along with a collection of Trees including Australian Blackwood, Black Wattle, Drooping Sheoak, Silver Banksia, River Red Gum and Australian Blackwood. The space is anticipated to bring a range of wildlife, reconnecting our residents with nature. The Village Wetlands are awaiting final approval from Wyndham City Council and Melbourne Water and is expected to open shortly.

The Village, Stage 204, Maywood Road

All works are now complete for Stage 204, along with the final touches such as line-marking of the roads and signage. We’re currently working through final stages of testing and then we’ll move onto securing all relevant authority signoffs for compliance.

The Village, Stage 205, Bladsell Road 

All drainage infrastructure is now in the ground. The construction crew have started building up the different   layers of road and pavement. In the next couple of weeks, we will shape and finish the kerb, with more layers of the road and pavement to follow.

Future Childcare (Stage 201)

The construction of a future childcare centre on the corner of Brocton Rd and Dryden Ave is underway. This childcare centre being built by Oreana, contains ample parking within their own carpark onsite, 7 separate rooms and capacity of up to 124 children.
