Local residents have successfully campaigned for Manor Lakes to be recognised as a suburb in its own right. Notice of the registration of Manor Lakes by the Registrar of Geographic Names was published in the Victoria Government Gazette on 17th March. In order for the suburb status to be formalised, the process requires Wyndham City Council to be officially notified by the Office of Geographic Names. Council will then advise residents and commence the change-over of street signs and other requirements during a period of transition.

The local community at Manor Lakes joined together to make this year’s Australia Day celebration on Tuesday, 26th January our most memorable yet. Held in the newly developed park precinct beside the lake, the carnival-themed event attracted families throughout the entire estate neighbourhood, with an estimated gathering of more than 1,000 people in attendance.
The Dennis Family Corporation today announced a major landscaping and beautification project to be undertaken at Manor Lakes in Wyndham Vale during 2014.
The project focuses on the estate’s natural centrepiece - Manor Lake - and its surrounding environs, with the enhancements to be concentrated on the lake’s northern perimeter where residential development has already occurred.
“This is another important milestone and further exciting news for the growing community at Manor Lakes,” said Dennis Family Corporation Chief Executive Officer, Peter Levinge.
Marrying the person you love and starting a new life together in your own home is a dream come true. Spending the rest of your life with someone who is willing to do the same is a great fulfilment. Buying a new home is one of the most important decisions you’ll make as newlyweds.
Choosing the right type of house is part of the process. You should make a good choice based on your preferences and financial situation. Your decision will depend on these important things:
Whenever you picture your dream house in your mind, chances are that it usually has a visually appealing front lawn. Flowerbeds have a way of titillating the senses and making you feel that you have indeed come home. Your front yard is the first thing that you and any passerby would notice.
City life isn’t for everyone; the stress, the pace, and the constant moving about are just some of the things people can do without. If any of these things are true for you, it’s probably time to rethink your place of residence.
An Emphasis on Safety
Safety shouldn’t be sacrificed for convenience, and people should really think about their well-being every time they do something, like crossing the street. You should find a place where the pace doesn’t push people to ignore the rules of the road, or any other activity for that matter.
